Februrary 25th 2012 - Effective Public Speaking
    The Peterborough, East Peterborough and Peterborough Lioness will host the Local Effective Public speaking contest for 2012 for Lions International. Grade 3 - 12 French and English students are invited to participate. The Distrtict contest will be March 10th 2012. The all Ontario contest will be May 12th 2012.

March 2012 - Peace Poster Contest
    The Peterborough Lions will introduce the 2012 Peace Poster Contest. This contest is open to all school children who will be 11, 12, or 13 on Nov. 15th of the current year. The contest depicts peace through drawings. 2011 Contest winner from Marmora Crowe Valley Lions Club Hannah Maynes, Marmora Seniour School third place winner from Peterborough Lions Club Armour Heights School Erin Stranaghan
